BATTERY RECYCLING
Pursuant to Article 62 of Regulation EU 2023/1542, end users are entitled to the free return and collection of the high voltage Li-ion waste battery by delivering them to GM’s approved recyclers and their partners without the obligation to purchase a new battery. Please refer to the high voltage Li-ion battery recyclers page for additional information on collection points and recyclers approved by GM for GM EVs.
